The 2022 RMHF Gala was a huge success! Thank you to all of our sponsors, donations, and everyone involved!
Dear Friends and family of the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation:
We cannot believe that the 2022 RMHF Gala has come and gone. This year’s gala was such a huge success. Ryan Barker and his amazing staff at Chappapeela Sports Park were so hospitable and accommodating to our every need. They helped along with our amazing decorating committee transform the gym into a place of glitz and glam.
For the past fifteen years, the Richard Murphy Hospice House has served over 1,183 terminally ill residents and their families at absolutely no charge. The House can do this through all the efforts of our supporters of the gala: this year’s Gala chairman, Melissa Dufreche, our wonderful Gala Board, volunteer workers, leadership, Our sponsorships, ticket sales, donations, donated auction items, and prayers! The Gala would not be possible without our generous community.
The loss of a loved one is so difficult, and our goal is to alleviate some of this burden, provide comfort and a beautiful home to the residents and their families. No financial burden, 24-hour caregivers, peace and comfort. Thank you to our community that has made the operations of the house possible. It is and honor and extremely heartfelt to care for those facing the end of life, and we appreciate the trust and confidence that families have given to the Richard Murphy Hospice House and our dedicated staff.
There are so many kindhearted people that assist us in our day to day operations. A special thanks to our regular volunteers, lawn care, cooks, professional services, our Board of trustees, Gala Board, our Hospice House Staff, and many more. Thank you to all our supporters who deliver household products and meals to the Hospice House. They are greatly appreciated and needed by the grieving families.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for this year’s gala on September 16th, 2023. Thank you again to everyone for making this another successful gala while raising money for such a wonderful cause.
